Shri Arun Kumar Sinha, a distinguished retired IAS officer of the 1983 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre, brings to KICCI a wealth of experience in public administration, governance, infrastructure, policy and institutional leadership.During his illustrious administrative career, Shri Sinha served the Government of Uttar Pradesh in several senior positions, including Principal Secretary and Additional Chief Secretary, and has held important responsibilities in areas including planning, infrastructure, industrial development, health, housing and urban development. He also served as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, besides serving as Commissioner and in other key administrative assignments.
At present, Shri Arun Kumar Sinha continues to contribute to important public institutions. He is an Independent External Monitor (IEM) with the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) and the Central Medical Services Society (CMSS), Government of India. He is also an empanelled member of the Dispute Resolution Board (DRB) of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
